Our History

Our Story

Cybermarine International was founded in 1992 in a small apartment in Singapore by Bhaskar Rao and Arvind Dhupkar — two engineers with a shared vision: to build a boutique marine design company that would deliver world-class naval architecture and engineering services with the agility and precision that large firms could not.

Over three decades, we have grown from that founding partnership into a team of more than 100 engineering professionals, serving clients across the oil and gas, commercial shipping, defence and renewable energy sectors. Our global footprint spans Singapore, Abu Dhabi, Istanbul, London and Mumbai — combining strategic client proximity with deep technical execution capability.

Bhasker Rao

With over 35 years in the maritime industry, Bhasker Rao has led Cybermarine from its founding in 1992 to become a globally recognised boutique marine design consultancy. His expertise spans naval architecture, offshore structures and project management across multiple vessel classes.

Co-Founder & Chairman

Arvind Dhupkar

Arvind Dhupkar co-founded Cybermarine with a vision to deliver engineering excellence at every stage of the vessel lifecycle. As Chairman of the Board, he provides strategic oversight and draws on decades of experience in marine engineering and offshore design.
